With the incredible support we receive from individuals from across the Commonwealth and neighboring states, the Museum will soon begin our second decade of discussing the Holocaust and modern Genocides. The VHM is 100% donation based and your support directly contributes to the continuation of our free admission, the pedagogical workshops and resources we offer for educators, and the 10,000 students who are able to take field trips annually.
Donate to the Museum
Thanks to your generous donation, the Virginia Holocaust Museum is able to remain free and open to the public.
Become a Member
Memberships are one of the cornerstones which make the Museum truly successful. By becoming a member, you will not only receive a discount in the Patricia R. Sporn Museum Shop, and invitations to members-only events but also help assure the continuation of traveling exhibits, programs, and speakers.
Partnerships, employee volunteerism, matching-gifts, and in-kind contributions with local businesses, foundations, and area companies have allowed the VHM not only to grow but are also an integral part of many of our programs but also our future development. Contact our Development Manager, Brett Schrader, for more information.

Create a Planned Gift
By creating a legacy gift, you will not only ensure the future of the Museum but also make sure the stories of both the Survivors and victims of all genocides will continue to be preserved, and shared with countless generations. The Virginia Holocaust Museum works with the Richmond Jewish Foundation to create planned giving opportunities for those who are interested in creating a legacy. Donate an Artifact
Materials which are donated to the Museum are carefully cataloged and preserved, in order to help demonstrate how genocide affects all aspects of everyday life and the societies where it occurred.
